Alix Woolard - Registered Psychologist

Dr Alix Woolard is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Prior to her Masters Degree her PhD focused on Autism, as did her postdoctoral position at the University of Sydney. She then focused on researching childhood post-traumatic stress disorder as a Senior Research Fellow at the Kids Research Institute Australia

At MPS Alix works with children (aged 5+), teens and young people, adults and couples. She is experienced in working with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and gender dysphoria, and has an interest in working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients. Alix’s approach is neuro-affirming, warm and open, and she uses a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Self-Compassion.

She is available in Saftey Bay and Fremantle or via Telehealth.
